If Poetry was a love songA Poem by Benita-Staebell M - KindredPoetInspired by She's my Kinda rain By: Tim McGraw Some Repetitive Repetition repeat type poem This is how Poetry makes me feel. written for a contest. Written Nov. 13, 2014If poetry was a love song, She'd be a soft raining storm of millions of raindrops, Dancing water of music she'd be. If poetry was a beautiful woman, She'd be the sweet calm breeze of a summers day. The smiles of morning sunshine waking you up with innocent giggles. If poetry could be a love song, She'd be yellow sunflowers in a field of lovers. She'd be that white sundress upon the shadows of your dancing beauty. If poetry was a swaying tree, She'd be a weeping willow with silver tears of strength. If poetry was the crisp autumn days, She'd be the kisses upon your cheeks the silent hushing nights. If poetry was the crystal raindrops, She'd be a beautiful woman praising God in the rain dancing and laughing like a giddy innocent child. If poetry was a love song, She'd be the crashing currents of the ocean singing upon the moonlit dark nights water. If you were a dancer poetry, You'd caress the floor with your movements becoming the music a shimmering flower Cascading across the lights shadows. If poetry was a love song this is how she'd make me feel and this is what she'd be. Copyright Kindred poet/ Benita Staebell McCartney © 2014 Benita-Staebell M - KindredPoetAuthor's Note
