Hello October where have you been?

was still warm when Autumn came to us in good Old Northern Georgia :) written Oct. 3 2014

The sweet sounds of

October in Autumn.

I long for fall  for

the comfortable cool

crisp weather,

For  the quiet  nights

to come like wisps of

the wind blowing through.

Hot coco warm sweaters

soft moist air smell of Autumn.

HellO October I was

waiting what took you so

long to visit me?

Walking down a path

filled with leafs of wonder

and silence.

Blow of the wind

lets play in the piles

of raked leafs.

HellO  beautiful October

where have you been hiding

with your silent crisp

wind that dances through my

hair.

Your October sounds much like ours here in NW Arkansas. And like you, I've longed for this month, as it may be my favorite time of all. The warm sweaters, hot beverage, (coffee for me) gorgeous colors and that smell in the air. With these fine words, you describe it so well.

Thank you for your kind review and Comments they're appreciated. ah I bet that is nice I've been to areas in Texas my mother was born and raised in Killeen Texas and it gets very humid in Texas it does here as well in the summer weather stays warm for a while during October we have had rains and storms but they've passed. It's still rather warm here in NC too. But, the cool mornings and backyard sunsets are spectacular. I've always been a little fond of October as well; I just wish it wasn't followed so closely by winter.

ah well I love Autumn and spring there has been
warm winters here where we just wore shorts was different for me LOL...
I am Originally born and raised in Cedar rapids Iowa
been in Northern Georgia 14teen years now are you in North Carolina ? I love the snow just not crazy about being cold as I love winter wonderlands I am a country girl so I hate the loud rushing noises that is way Autumn and spring are the calmest for me. thank you for your kind reviews and comments they're appreciated. blessings. I'm from NC. But we lived in MO for a 15 years before moving back her after my son was born. We came back here to escape the frigid MO winters. My poem, "Winter" fully details my sentiments on the cold.

ah! it must of been dreadful I will check it out. it is a death sentence for ice or snow to come here as many that live here don't know how to drive on ice and don't drive safe enough then accidents happen :/ my husband is a safe driver most that don't know how to drive just get in too much of a hurry then they get hurt sadly.

I didn't know how to drive on the stuff before I moved to MO. However, we do get more ice-storms than snow here; so I knew already how to drive on ice (it's all about staying OFF the brakes -- if you're out of second, you're goin' too dang fast!).

yea my husband is a safe driver and I never worry with him but others we stay away from crazy drivers and times we don't go out where it is just too swamped with cars and too dangerous on the roads so there is a time to be on the roads and not to be very true :)

Same with us. I've never understood why Mo and Ron feel the need to rush out into such weather just to tool around on the roads.
