Mind of a poet Written August 2 2014 thinking about how a white piece of paper can be a Adventure.

A clean piece of paper

holds some adventure.

The mind of a write and

poet is full of imagination

and adventure.

A blank white cloud

that could be a  painted thought

of words and aspirations.

Pure crisp white paper

to write down ideas.

Blue ink or red to scribble

down a love poem.

Petals of silk dance upon

the lines on the page.

What a lovely way of describing all of us… many just don't understand that writing flows through our bodies… it is like a caged animal we must let out before it dies. The blank page is our canvass and our thoughts and emotions are the colors we paint with our words.

I like that...the poet's mind compared to the blank piece of paper...before anything is written on it...but then we write the poem...we fill the paper...the ink from our brain.
