The God Delusion ~ Gideon Roos

The God Delusion ~ Gideon Roos

A Poem by Gideon T Roos
"

A poem in honour of Cicero's quote: "Nature has herself imprinted on the minds of all the idea of god." As well as a nod to the book by Richard Dawkins, The God Delusion.

"

I look around

At the beauty of the world

At the glory of the stars

At the sheen of the moon

At the radiance of the sun

At the love of the antelope

And the joy of the beaver

At the rock of the ocean

And the slip of the waves

And the foam on the mountains

And see impressed upon the minds of man

The delusion we call god.
