Desolate MIndA Poem by Ghost of Gonzo
Midnights passed, 6 A.M. rolls in. On the beach I stand watching the waves rush in. As i walk along the waters edge, off in the horizon a breath-taking scene did dance. I stood alone in awe, mouth agape in a trance. For there out of the light my goddess strolled. Her hair long and flowing like ribbons of gold. With eyes a sparkling blue even the water could not hold. Elegance and grace pour from her being like a river does flow. For this goddess in my life showed me what i thought my heart would never know. I quicken my pace just to reach her again. For my soul to reconnect with it's one true friend. My heart skips a beat as my stomach hits my feet. I reach out to hold my hearts desire, she vanished with out a trace like smoke from a fire. My mind formed my sweetest thoughts into a trick to play. i sit there alone hoping to see her again some day.
