Forgotten

Forgotten

A Poem by GhostWoman
"

I wrote this when my dad seriously pissed me off.

"

Forgotten

Promises never kept

Forgotten

Out on the sidewalk

Forget about me

He'd say he'll stop

He never does,

But I saw that coming

He never does

He smokes, he drinks

He lives with his mom

He can't drive

He can't focus

On what really matters in his life

In that case, it'd be me

Getting a job and a life

Getting a girl, and maybe a ring

He just needs to get off

Get off his lazy a*s

Get up of the f*****g floor

Get out of the dumps

Find a path

Take it

I know he won't...

This is what I want

I've cut myself,

I'm tempted to just end the pain and neglect

Forgotten
