My All

My All

A Poem by Georgiana

You are soft lights
Pale soft lips
You are wiping my tears away
They're not stopping they're not stopping right now
When you're not holding me tight
I can be very prickly so it's hard for you to hold on super tight all the time
You give so much and you ask for explanation
And I try I promise I do try
I just often really don't know what I am.
I wish that over our time I had focused more on your sense of significance rather than my self pity
I want you to know that every single night
When you're not here
I'll peek outside
And find that your absence is stretched over the whole night sky.
And your absence coats all the silhouettes of trees in the distance.
Worst of all
My bedroom walls are so far apart when you're not sharing this room with me
They all know you need to be here.
That I need you to be here.
My darling,
My person,
Whose arms are the whole world when wrapped around little me.
Wide pretty eyes of incandescence
Observing my face
Scanning my lips.
And if we were to live together, "home would be at home"
Forever, my dream.
Eyes of midsummer sky,
Hands of midsummer day
Ever growing, ever changing- ever intertwining branches of soul.
Crowded and examined by Nature,
Who can no longer tell where my soul ends and yours begins
My Love
My All
We are more beautiful than Autumn leaves.
