      Why do we worship

     the shallow celebrity

         overexposure?

 

          Venerate heroes,

         military and police;

      the ones who save lives.

 

          Honor the parents

       who do the job properly;

     and the teachers who help

 

        Leave the false idols

       for the foolish to follow,

        like sheep to slaughter..
