Hatred
A Poem by
Geralyn Miller
Hate
is a ravening beast,
gnawing
at heart and soul
of the one who hates.
Hate
consumes the heart
until
no love is possible.
Hate
hollows the soul,
leaving only
a empty husk.
Hate
diminishes the Hater,
not the Hated.

simple, yet powerful...a really beautiful piece. I especially like, " Hate diminishes the hater, not the hatred." wise words...

The Flames of Hatred, consuming all they touch. Reminds me of a poem I once made. Regardless, nice poem, well made, good emotion!

Hate is the opposite of love,
and a wasted emotion. Nicely
