Fresh Fig

Fresh Fig

A Poem by Geralyn Miller

        Sensual delight,

silky skin; soft, musky pulp,

    luscious in the mouth.

If your only taste of figs was the dried stuff in cookies, you have no idea what you are missing. A fresh fig is positively sexy.

I so agree... I have written a number of poems myself about figs - and have a fig tree in my garden... the pulpy pink flesh is indeed sweet to the taste...

Nice haiku

Ahhhh... such sensuality in this blended brevity! Figs are rich pleasures.. and all i brought for lunch was pumpkin...

Fresh figs are pretty amazing- I only wish they were more common in the Czech Republic- I'll definitely have to get my fill in California the next time I'm there. c:
Wonderful piece.

With an endorsement like that, you should be getting paid. I have to say, I've never had a fresh one, but now I want to try one.
