Wind Colored Eyes

Wind Colored Eyes

A Story by Geralyn Miller

The woman

with wind colored eyes

smiles,

and the summer storms.

Clouds, darker than her eyes,

pile in wildish billows;

she laughs

and the thunder roars.

Sky, black as ebony,

no stars to brighten;

she dances

and lightning splits the heavens.

Thunder roars,

lightning crashes;

she sings

and rain pours in torrents.

The woman

with wind colored eyes.

A very dangerous lady this "woman with wind colored eyes", she reminds me of Ayoa the fierce warrior orisha of the air! Intense imagery you've painted with your fine words.
