Private Nightmare

Private Nightmare

A Poem by Geralyn Miller

A thousand wishes

and a prayer of dreams,

while the angels watch

we dance.

Dance in the night

and the halls of slumber,

cheek to cheek,

heart to heart;

swaying to the angel song.

Dance until the daylight calls;

then awakening . . .

alone.

I love your use of semi colons, those are not as common in a poem.
A very good short yet meaning full poem.
