Night Friend

Night Friend

A Poem by Geralyn Miller

Night velvet time,

dark and peaceful;

darktime.

Gentle time,

passing

nighttime.

Homecoming-----

creature of the night.

Darkness is

a lover of mine.

World of no sun,

pale skin,

bright eyes.

Mystic,

misunderstood,

night creature.

Come,

be a darktime,

midnight

friend of mine.

There is such a darkly moving, richly woven feel to your nighttime, darktime world. It is a time that brings alive such imaginations. Beautifully dark and inviting.

Very picturesque for a poem of the dark. Paints it like a lover would. With a gentle caress and a light kiss. Well done.
