Hurricane of the Heart

Hurricane of the Heart

A Poem by Geralyn Miller

I'm in a tropical depression

just survived a hurricane,

a love that tore

my heart to shreds;

a torrent of tears

flooded my heart.

Now, the storm has passed.

My devastated heart

is in a tropical depression,

waiting for the sky to clear.

wow, the imagery of a storm that has passed compared to what happens to the heart, that was very creative. This was really good. Good job, and keep writing!
