Fox Lady

Fox Lady

A Poem by Geralyn Miller

fox lady,

silent you wait;

green eyes gleam

in pale cream face.

fox lady,

I see you

waiting,

night after night.

for whom

do you wait,

so quietly

in the dark,

fox lady?

the titian

cascade

of your hair

must haunt

his dreams.
