Give me Love

Give me Love

A Poem by Dillon "Gerald" Steele

It seems now a days

you've forgotten about me

Its almost as if i never existed

almost as if you never thought of me

as yours.

When all i do is think about

how your hugs would hold me together

and how your smile would brighten

the darkest parts of my heart.

I am here still wondering

if you remember the night we met

the night I met you.

It still seems to me like it was

forever ago when i first saw

those big eyes flutter at me

like they were trying to cool me down

maybe its because

you saw how red my face was.

Since then I've been waiting

Waiting to hold you,

Waiting to tell you,

Waiting to love you.

Now is my chance

ill only get one chance

yet I can't stand knowing

I could let you down

That you would fine my love

insignificant.

All i ask is for your love

yet when I go to tell you

how my heart feels

my mouth sits

in utter silence.
