ID and Ego

ID and Ego

A Poem by Dillon "Gerald" Steele
"

Id and super ego ego are specified as the devil and angels on peoples shoulders. Id being the devil and Super ego being the angel. Ego is the actual person.

"

Egos parents told him not to go

ID told him that it wouldnt matter

Super ego tried blocking the door

But ego was mad

So ID pushed super ego out of the way

Super ego got to sit in the backseat

The ego goes out and has fun

while ID supports his decisions.

Super ego sits in the corner, a wallflower

ego gets in his car

ID smiles

Super ego was forgotten at the party

Ego never got home

ID is now laughing

Super ego didnt hear the news.

I like the use of words. You twisted them to make a interesting story in the poem. The test of good and bad is always with us. Hard to stay on the proper line in living. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
