The Silent Musician

The Silent Musician

A Poem by Gilda
"

Written in about 10 mins. I would like to make a screenplay out of it. Unsure whether to go with the approach that this is just one person being all these things, or a different person for every line

"
I am a silent musician.
I am a guitarist in a queue.

I am a drummer in the library.

I am a rapper on the bus.
I am a choir in a church.
I am a piano on a first date.
I am a trombone in an argument.
I am a harpist at a wedding.
I am a violin at a funeral.
And I am a triangle at home.

What do you think of the imagery? (If you think there is any?)

As you mentioned you want writing a screenplay on it then go on, it's really a great Imaginary as well as an interesting to read so, if you make your screenplay then hope you'll let me know because i really'd love reading your screenplay if that one be based on this the same theme. It's you know a great and an awesome theme, i enjoyed reading this and your made me smiley today. I find the idea of a silent musician oddly funny.
I like the idea and the layout. nice one.

I adored this, especially your purpose with the last line (Oh, do I know the feeling) Keep it up, this is excellent and very enticing writing. I look forward to your next work!

Can see a darkened stage.. scattered hints of ten pairs of white toe-tips, a spotlight that slowly and palely travels as if searching - then grows each time it arrives at a pair of toes. At the end, a blue light shines on the backs of three people saying that final line. Maybe. Each of your phrases suggests a real life, conjurs a real tableau with a sense of place. Wonderful!

'I am a drummer in the library.' - can you imagine the reaction to that! :)

There is a little imagery. It's oddly thought-provoking, although music can also be viewed as organized silence. John Cage's 4' 33''.
