Everything

Everything

My god, you were everything.

Do you even f*****g understand that?

How dangerous, I thought.

To finally have something worth loosing.

So, tell me, was it worth it?

Because, it’s only now that I realise,

I wasted all those shooting stars on you.

Only to find out that wishes don’t come true.

Yes, I know my feelings are confusing,

Bit, if the only thing I can do today is remind myself to breath,

In and out,

In and out,

Then that’s okay, for now.

I find myself having to remember that even a bad day,

Only has twenty-four hours.

Your fingerprints still haven’t washed off.

I’m a stained like a red rose, wilting.

I stuck in a cycle of memories of you.

I wish you could see the scars that you left.

Unfortunately, my everything, was not enough.

I willingly gave you my last breath,

Because I was dying, and you were my only cure.

I'd like to see you ditch the cursing and replace it with something with more depth.

Yes, relationships can go south for so many reasons and when someone we love isn't there anymore, it can be frustrating to not know the real reasons why.
