EverythingA Poem by GeorgiaROpen Mic Poetry - Please leave a review! My god, you were everything. Do you even f*****g understand that? How dangerous, I
thought. To finally have
something worth loosing. So, tell me, was it worth it? Because, it’s only now that I realise, I wasted all those shooting stars on you. Only to find out that wishes don’t come true. Yes, I know my feelings are confusing, Bit, if the only thing I can do today is remind myself to
breath, In and out, In and out, Then that’s okay, for now. I find myself having to remember that even a bad day, Only has twenty-four hours. Your fingerprints still haven’t washed off. I’m a stained like a red rose, wilting. I stuck in a cycle of memories of you. I wish you could see the scars that you left. Unfortunately, my everything, was not enough. I willingly gave you my last breath, Because I was dying, and you were my only cure. © 2017 GeorgiaR |
