Dad

Dad

A Story by GeorgiaBryony

Well my dad he said "I'll be right back",
5 years have passed- he was talking out is arse crack.
He let me down in so many ways,
If i saw him again i would just stand and Gaze.
He doesn’t deserve my respect, he didn’t say bye,
I will not waste anymore tears, Dad you will not make me cry!

Dad: I’d never say never to the unknown,
That was the attitude that I have now out grown.
Stupid mistakes caused by me,
Hurt so many people but at the time i did not see.
I hope for forgiveness and my sins to be redeemed,
I don't want to be cast aside because of a previous life of greed.

Mum: In one sense put my hands up to you,
the tough things that you have battled through.
But that doesn't mean you can treat me like s**t,
I aint no gullible twit.
Get the f**k out of my life and leave me alone,
I've dialled 999 get the f**k out my home.
Yeah the years we have had were a new experience,
But not something i would do again, im not going back over that fence.

Staring the window, wishing he'd come back,
The same faded blue jeans and the arsenal cap.
Things have never been the same since he left,
My heart was stolen - reported as heartly theift.
The tears will never stop coming and my heart will never... stop aching,
My dad is the one for all this pain due to my emotions breaking.

My dad say's he will call but he never does,
Im always the one botherd to make a fuss.
He's missed out on alot of events,
He can never buy them back- no matter how much money he spends.
