Wind Song - by GeorgeEA Poem by GeorgeEAn attempt to capture some dreamy visual word images.Wind Song A cloud mantled moon in a storm black
sky Silhouetting its shape on dark cliffs
high The thund’rous crash of a rolling sea
tide And the keening moan of wind inspired This song To you Have you ever felt the touch of spray
upon your face Have you ever watched the stars
twinkling out in space Have you ever kissed without a single
second thought And realised your dreams like a
butterfly you caught A cascading wave of soft swirling
hair Caught sparkling light in its silken
snare The elfin gleam of an enchantress’
smile Trapped in your net of innocent guile My Love For you Have you ever heard the roar of waves
breaking on a reef Have you ever watched the wind
playing with a leaf Have you ever wondered how you could
have failed to see That the wind cannot be tamed, my
love - the wind is always free © 2022 GeorgeEAuthor's Note
