again...your letter...

faint struggling writing

fear in every sound

doors slamming...keys rattling

cell walls hideous with blood...

held in predatory

solitude...

”in fear of my life”

no...this is not justice...

it is terror traumatising

the wounded mind...

person is lost winter leaf

cold...alone...

Passionate write - which raises an important issue (speaking from a UK viewpoint here); do prison mental health services now need to ensure that teams are delivering cogent trauma-based interventions. Yes, I expect many a prisoner feels like this, Whatever happened to care and rehabilitation?
I am a big believer of even the hardest of criminals being able to change their mind-set. They say, no-one is beyond redemption.
