To A True Revolutionary

heart unchained

against

mind breaking

pain

rage

where blood

screams for

vengeance

streets have spoken,

war rages

from shadows,

hearts broken

on the state’s

grinding wheel

cry “no!”

rage, heal the

fading light

yet…

gather the poor

as flowers..

put food in

bellies…if needed

guns in hands…

no!”

rip open prison

as a tiger

rips a carcass

rage

against the state

obscuring

the sun

Amazing anthem to revolution and freedom... Powerful words and imagery-"hearts broken on the state's grinding wheel...rip open prison as a tiger rips a carcass". Beautiful minimalist form and flow. Last verse is magnificent-Makes my heart pound! Bravo!
