More concerning my love for the sea

Sea Mist

mist

slow, silent…

gulls scream

like souls

drifting searching..

sea barely perceptible

came as mystery

to an awaiting shore

close to existence is

perpetual seeking,

mind flies with gulls

to within the obscured

seascape �" distant

dim horizon…

near, far

floats the fog

before the eyes…

sea stretches

shoreward..

dimmed vision does

not remove light…

again the gulls

i look up where

where they float on air

time to walk on

into creation

where I sense

new life

within the mist

George Hi. Very evocative. Those mists that obscure the division between sea and horizon ... well portrayed. Sounds become attenuated then. I can hear gentle lapping on the shingle. Somewhere behind a capricious gentle breeze causes the dune grass to whisper. I'm there!
