in The Waiting Room

in The Waiting Room

A Poem by George Coombs
"

something that came to me while waiting to see the Doctor

"

In The Waiting Room

in the waiting room

life lived with mobile 'phones

waiting for “next”

maybe send a text

play a built in game

take a photo... record a sound

even send an email or

go to facebook you will not fail

to distract yourself from other folk

for waiting ages is no joke

all over mobiles fingers are busy

mind never still...always in a tizzy

me? i have no mobile 'phone

i am content to be still and alone

yet each to their own i would agree

sit in a waiting room see what you see...
