I write about nature a lot and Autumn is my favorite time of year

Autumn Feelings

enveloping cold,

leaves fragile,

frost whitened,

fill the ground

each alone

among others

deep shadows

threatening

malignant �" the

snow came covering

waiting landscapes

here, there,

blackbirds pulsate

insistently

naked trees vulnerable

beneath heavy skies,

time of being alone

no doors open, no safe places
