Knowing

Knowing

A Poem by Veronica Ostling-Hirschberg
"

Capturing the moments of self discovery.

"
Truly the ways of the mind are still mysterious,
and still we think we've got it all.
We think we know the answers
of what's right for us.

What is right or wrong anymore?
Why must we chose when we are so young?
I fear things will change without
me knowing,
and I fear that the end will be cut short.

But I do know, and rightfully so, what my purpose is,
a purpose that I have made for myself.
Writing is all I am, and all I ever was.
The clouds just needed time to clear
from my vision.
