It's the story of unappreciated love

When the screams were shrill, and the voices screaming loud

When the world was going round and time flying by

When the heart found its voice and the mind took a break

When nature finally understood and let her have her wish

That was when she fell in love

 

When it was all wrong, and nothing seemed right

When a lot was expected but only a little could be given

When the seasons came by and time stood still

When he couldn’t hold back and she couldn’t look away

That was when she fell in love

 

When it was too complicated, and  yes could mean no

When the space melted into nothingness and his look felt safe

When she sacrificed her all and it was still not enough

When she could be the happiest and still the saddest

That was when she fell in love

 

When she told everyone else, all the others but him

When she sought her refuge, in the highest of powers

When she drew close, but still so far away

When all that mattered, was when he was close

That was when she fell in love

 

When what she felt, was never what mattered

When her fears and love, were all connected to his presence

When everyone could see, except for the one

When the answer was simple, yet hard to live by

That was when she fell in love

 

But love, love was a feeling unknown

Love, love was a wind unreachable

Love had nothing to do with her
