Tempting the prince

Tempting the prince

A Poem by C. Von Lichtenstein
"

Oh, we'll burn so long.

"
"My sweet little boy,
Curious you would be
To watch me play every day
Isn't that a sin, immaculate Catholic boy?

A million ways to love
On hundred ways to kiss
Of wanton passion and sugar coated delights
Won't you take your chance?
Won't you follow me into the safe haven of euphoria?

As shallow steps of bridled curiousity move the body
One would fall into my trap
Even the offerings of the she-wolf in disguise
Wouldn't bring you to your knees....
Certainly he is not so easily brought back from his distorted world of perfection and morality?

I lead him into temptation.

Fingers laced together, fighting for the dominance of the lover's motive.
The forest floor had never looked better in my eyes
The sounds of the animals wouldn't distract you
Neither wouldn't the triumph of darkness around us
Would you give your heart so effortlessly to me?

Those twitching lips have touched the skin of the virgins and authority
But never of such lips of elation and iniquitous motif

I tease him with chaste kisses and words of assurance

Does that make me wicked?

Into the gardens I take him
The admiring eyes of my lover, I see nothing, but a voracious desire
Once again confessing to the pained concupiscence buried within us
The sins of the flesh and mortal pleasures mask our senses
Our little dance of eroticism, our little secret.

I lead him into temptation.

The golden crucifix was hung over my sight
The gleaming light in the reflection of the sun's rays
Shall I feel remorseful?
We'll be together
Oh, this he knows
I am sin, I am love and the drug that keeps him stable
Forever entwined in each other's arms

We'll burn in the infernal abyss."
