Chiaroscuro

Chiaroscuro

A Poem by Geniye
"

Your serpent beckons:

"
A serpent follows me.
Follows me to the screeching halt of demise,
And to the wingless flight of this sinner's rise.
I finally feel free.

In the absence of this
Phantom of eccentric electric fire,
Silence fills the loud clatter of nature's mire -
A liquid mist of bliss

Do you hear me serpent?
I taste the black blood that drips from your fangs,
Your extract turns to pain as you sang.
Fear not, my scars hear you.

My windows turn to black,
My skies turn to white as you came to dance;
I remember in this sovereign's silent muse:
a serpent follows me.
