Skyscrapers in a big city decorate the sky at night,

reminding me of how far apart our worlds are.

You there, me here.

With that realization my heart is flood with fear.

Will you hold my heart gently and remember

me as your one and only?

Or will you seek warmth when times get lonely?

Only time will reveal the truth.
