What I AmA Poem by Genevieve Robinson McKibbenWhat I Am
If I am beautiful to see, Born and blessed most lovingly; If I’m common as a yam… God has made me what I am.
If my eyes are vivid blue, Chestnut brown or green to view; If a cloudy diagram… God has made me what I am.
If my form’s a perfect shape Or pathetic in its drape; That’s no funny epigram… God has made me what I am.
If my life is blessed with health, Whether poor or rich in wealth. Make me humble as a lamb… God has made me what I am. © 2016 Genevieve Robinson McKibbenAuthor's Note
