Winter SnowA Poem by Genevieve Robinson McKibbenWinter Snow
Oh winter snow so soft and white, Your quite a question, quite a sight; You wave and tumble gently down And spread your blanket o’er the ground.
Your flakes come tumbling large or small, Creating drifts both low and tall, Impeding paths and slowing pace, But lovingly with growing pace.
You paint our land in glist’ning hue, A nature’s art of scenic view, And then you breathe a frigid chill Above your sparkling snow so still.
But Heaven knows without your snow, It wouldn’t be the land we know. So God has sent you tumbling down To spread your beauty o’er the ground. © 2016 Genevieve Robinson McKibbenAuthor's Note
