My dear friend is in such a sad state because he is too shy to take his chance. I say to him “Yes, you want her. Look at her you know you do. It’s possible she wants you too, there is one way to ask her.” He glares at me with such fire in his eyes.
All night he just stares at her and you can see just how badly he wants to be with her. I hear him whisper, “Wish I could be part of that world.” What is this world that he sees? Why doesn’t he see that all he has to do is go up there and TALK to her? I put my arm around him and say “There, there baby it's just text book stuff, it's in the ABC of growing up.” He just seems to get more upset at me.
What is a friend supposed to do? Now he is mad at me because I distracted him and now she has disappeared. After a short spat he and I have had enough and he suddenly feels like he can’t breathe. He says to me “I'm going outside to take it all in.” He walks out and I don’t see him for hours. I sent him a text and got a quick response saying he had left with her.
The next morning when he decides to grace me with his presence he informs me of all the details from the night before. Apparently this chick was, how to put this lightly? Drunk and out of her mind. She could barely keep her composure and she was leaning all over my friend. She drags him out to the parking lot and tosses her keys to him and then says “Baby you got the keys, now shut up and drive.”
After a thirty-minute wild goose ride he finally reaches her place and, like the good guy he is, he takes her back inside to her room. The words she said to him and the things she showed him I won’t even repeat what he told me. I will say one thing, she shouted to him out of nowhere “Hit me hard. Hit me right between the eyes. Wanna see the stars. Hit me, hit me!” He had enough of her shenanigans by that time and he yells over her “Hey! You’re a crazy b***h!” and he busts out of her place.
He gets quiet and I walk over to him and tell him “Come and sit with me and talk awhile. Let me see your pretty little smile. Put your troubles in a little pile and I will sort them out for you.”
