“Jeremy!” shouts Alexander. “You may hate what has happened. But Acilia has never been wrong before. You need to protect Grace.” Jeremy continues walking, “I don’t need to do anything.”
“You and Grace will have more in common than you think Jeremy. She is going to need you. Do you remember the moment that you got bit?” asks Alexander.
A flash of memories rush through Jeremy and the heat of pain rush back to his neck bringing him to his knees. “Do you want that for that little girl?” asks Alexander. Jeremy sighs out, “No.”, and his tears start fall.
