The man’s laughter booms into the night rattling every window shutter. “What did you do to me?” Jeremy asked. Still smiling that sinister smile he responds, “I gave you everlasting life. Too bad I can’t say the same about your beloved.”
The blood in Jeremy’s veins boiled and he shouts, “What did you do to her?” The man walks closer to Jeremy. His breath is right on Jeremy’s neck and he whispers, “I… Didn’t do anything. You were the one who got a little too blood thirsty.”
Jeremy falls to his knees and the tears pour. The man charges forward.
