Sometimes #5

Sometimes #5

A Poem by Luther

Sometimes I see you

And you catch me looking

And we both secretly dream

We were one.

Sometimes I ask you

If you’d be whisked away

By me, as a steed,

To the castle of love.

Sometimes I hold you

And we quench our thirsts,

As we weave and entwine

And fall into grace.

Sometimes I see you

After a night of dreams

And my stomach churns

As you drift away.

Sometimes I remember you,

How you were,

How you are,

And just how we could have been.
