Riches and Greed

Riches and Greed

A Poem by Luther

I'm too young to perish

Yet you still bring me pain

Nailing me to a cross
Just to watch me drift away.

Ripped by the riches
Tormented by the greed
Given all you ever wanted
But you never wanted me.

I'm left here to wander

To roam this barren land

Your grasped all that you loved

Still you never took my hand.

Evil times destroy

My halcyon memories

I'm dreaming of a nigtmare

But it's just reality.

I'm not one for poetry, but I really liked this. I liked the use of language and how it flows. It was also nice to read ;D

Loved it! ^^
