Wavetrain

A Poem by Gene Von Banyard

I remember her. I remember her because I cannot forget her. I can never extinguish those warring eyes. I left her. It was the only thing to do. I had to leave England for all there was strife. I did not expect to come here though and I certainly did not expect her to follow me to wherever but she has and I am still running. The landscape is constantly changing, folding in nowhere near it self. They appear as a schizophrenic sequence of flicker frames. Voices appear within time. A certain fragment punctuates the maelstrom and slowly morphs into distinction before me. I click away, hyper-link to another memory, another score but the virus persists, virtualizing the memory before me -sheitreal-. I am still running, the landscape folds and the memory persists.
