There Once Was A GirlA Chapter by GinaAlright! Yipee for intros!
This is the story of Jen. Jen was a girl who had a perfectly normal life. That is, until she discovered the truth. Her so called "parents" were in fact international spies. Now some might think this is cool, but it can become a real pain in the butt.
Especially when you find out that those double agents kidnapped you from your true family. Jen's family was full of real agents, those who were committed to their work and country. Even her brothers were agents, she had a 12 person family (including her). Her grandparents (maternal) were retired obviously, but her mom, dad, aunt (father's sister), uncle (by marriage), three cousins (some younger than her), and two older brothers were still very active. But that, is not what I am here to talk about, nope, not even close. I'm here to leads you in her anti-climatic day-to-day life. What you would expect of any normal teenager who thinks their life is normal. And who am I? Well I am her, or I used to be. It's been three years since I found out I am adopted and I have absolutely nothing in common with this sweet and innocent child. In a few days I turn 15 and I was reminiscing upon old memories. Sweet memories of hope, love and the worst of all: happiness. You see, a spy must be trained since birth. They must never show fear or anger or any other emotion. I wasn't trained since birth. I was trained since two months ago. I knew what happiness was, something most spies don't. At least not true happiness. I miss it and I want to have it back. Oh, silly me, getting off track. I have an assignment to do. You see, I'm looking for a machine. A very special machine, that will take all those memories away and only leave me with spy skills. However, I do not want to lose them. So, I will take this journal and put everything I can remember into it in hopes of some day in my retirement being able to retrieve it and reminisce once more. This is my story...
