Prolouge

A baby has been born.

"What shall we name her?" Queen Eli asked King Jeff.

 

Their future prince turned out to be a beautiful daughter instead. "Jennifer, Jen for short." Jeff tickled his baby girl, "we need to leave soon." 

His eyes met the queen's as she spoke, "Jeff, I can't leave our people here like this. It's just not right."

"Damn it Eli, you have devoted your whole life to these people! I don't want our daughter to suffer this too. I want her to live a normal life, like I did." 

"Then take her and seal the portal to earth. She will come back when the time has come. Legends say-"

"Screw your god-dammed legends! I'm coming in three days to pick up my daughter and I'm leaving with or without you." Jeff stormed off. He didn't realize that their latest fight had woken me up and I started crying. I wouldn't remember this until years later, but that is a story for another time.
