Little Me

Little Me

A Poem by Evans
"

That younger you

"

Little Me

I can still remember how I laughed back then

So carefree and open

My eyes never saw wrong

Oh, what a child I was

I wish I was still that child

With those free smiles and light cheers

But, Hey,...

I still have her

Here in my heart she stays

I play games with her now and again

When I smile, for no reason at all, that's her telling a story

I was a playful child

Deep inside...

..I still am
