Nighty - NightA Chapter by EvansShe lived though the night. The moon was her mother, the stars were her sisters and brothers, and the wind was her father. Eclipse is everything she wants to be.Chapter 1 Nighty - Night She didn't even try to run after the man. The rain alone was enough that it slowed him down, the wind was a bonus. The man's short breaths was the only sound on the street. Wind chilled her bones, making them numb. The rain washed away the remaining blood from the other man back in the bar. She couldn't see why people wouldn't want to die on a night like this one. The rain was trying to swap anyone who dared walked the streets and the wind had no warmth, freezing everyone. She thanked the night for this peaceful night. The man soon ran out of street and came head-to-head with a thick gray wall. His quickly glanced around to find any other way to run, but there was no hope. He turned to see that she was still coming toward him, not effected by the heavy rain. His pushed himself against the wall, wishing he could melt into it. His chest raised and fell in a unhuman rate. His Finger dug into the stone of the wall, praying. The rain made his clothes heavy, too weak to stand he fell to his knee when she was no more the two feet away from him. "Please, I don't know what you want! Take m- my money, my ke- keys! Anything! Take anything!" The man begged without a word from the girl. She grinned. "I don't want your stuff. I came on a job," she paused, "from your wife." It toke him a while before he could reply. "My wi-ife? She p- put you up to this?" He stumbled over his word, thanks to the rain. She nod slowly and pulled out the knife from her pocket. The man wiggled aginsted the wall as he saw the knife's blade shine in the fate moonlight. "Please!" He screamed. "I don't know what I did! Have mercy, please!" "Mercy doesn't pay bills." She said as she quickly brought the knife to his neck. "Please . . .," he started to cry. "Please, let me live . . ." She gripped the knife hard in her hand. Staring at the crying man before her she felt nothing. "Tell them, 'Eclipse said hey'." She swag the knife and watched the man's body fall to the ground at her feet. She turned on her heel and walked away before the blood could touch her shoes. XXX She carefully knocked on the door as the little girl wiggled under her arm, crying. "Stay still or I'll kill right now." she hissed as the door opened. The lady gasped as she saw her at the door. The young girl screamed as she saw her mother. The lady said nothing, waiting with fear in her eyes. "Mother, we need to talk," she joke as she pushed her way into the house. She sat down at the table as the lady carefully stood on the over side staring at her daughter. "What do you want?" The woman tried to sound strong, sadly it fooled no one. "I came fro my money, of course. I killed him like you wanted me too." She said. "I- I said I'll send it in the mail." She toke a shaking breath. "Now let my girl go." She shakes her head at her making her flinch. "I don't believe take you will so I came to get it myself." The lady studied the girl's face and glanced at her daughter. She licked her lips. "I don't have the money, right now." She shuffled her weight to one leg to the other. "Give her back, now." "Oh," the girl raised her eyebrows, "so you don't have the money." The lady shook her head quickly. The girl carefully toke the little girl's hand. She looked at the lady as her breath skipped. With a quick moment of her hand the young girl yelled out in pain and started to cry more. Her hand limp, her cried fro her mother to make it stop. The lady started to let tears run down her face after she gasped at the sight of her draughts' broken wrist. 'Stop up!" she yelled at the girl. "Or I'll break your neck." She hissed as she gripped her face. "Stop! I have it. Just stop!" The lady yelled. The girl nod her off the get the money. The girl continued to cry and kick. "Here!" The lady came back, throwing a thick stake of money on the table. "Let her go!" "Double it." She said staring at it. The lady gasped, "What?" Quickly, causing the girl the scream, the girl gripped the girl's jaw and stood. "The neck will be next!" The lady rushed away and came back throwing more money on the table. "Thank you." The girl started shoving the money in the black bag. After all the money was in the bag she walked over to the door. She throw the girl on the flood next to her mother. They hugged each other as Eclipse walked away. "Go to Hell, " The lady hissed. She looked back at the small family and let go a grin. "I wish."
