i dont need

writing is my therapy

I don't need saving

I don't need anyone to fall for me

I don't need false hope

And I don't need pity

I don't need your understanding

I don't need to be a project

I don't need advice

Or false promises of bonds to be kept

I don't need to be held to emotional blackmail

I don't need to be fed

While chasing my own tail

I don't need to be judged

for the path I've walked

I don't need to relearn,

the lessons I've already been taught

I don't need to be treated

like a charity case

I just need somewhere that I'll always have a place

I just need a friend

Someone to lend me an ear

Someone to tell my story to

And having subject matter not tainted with fear

What I need is simply some acceptance

Not saving from my selves

Not being made insecure,

By the issues of someone else

I'm not here to be loved

I'm not here to be held

I'm not here to be anything that's less of myself

I'm not here to be found

I'm not here to be fucked around

I'm not here to be wanted

I'm here simply to see,

if I can find my own ground
