Angels of SinA Story by AliciaAnd the angels sang as they unfurled her tomb To find her spirit still untouched. Her heart of stone lay, remaining still, Yet her skin, profoundly deteriorated. They lift her body unto the table. They gather round, all observing the beauty Of such innocent eyes, such a beautiful heart. Her tiny breaths murmur, and she begins to choke, Then lay still once more. The angels repeat their song, They light their candles. Forming a circle around the body, The angels begin to suck her dry. Her love, her pain, Her sorrow and her mind These winged creatures are no longer angels, no They are demons, reduced to mere filth, Here to do nothing more than take. © 2010 AliciaAuthor's Note
