Colors black and blue
Definitely define this cool you
Instant red is not your flare
You are the moon
You and your gravitational pull
Sun's harmful rays is not your tame
Face the news

Bright but dark like the moon's touching glow
Shine your shine
Not fire but ice
Your element water is what you should subscribe
Face the truth
Not warm but cool
Not the sun but the moon
Not bouncy but gloomy
You'll know very soon

You are the colors black and blue

Author's Note

This was written WAY BEFORE the Louis Armstrong Black and Blue poem response that I did. I added the "Cool like the Moon" to the title for obvious reasons... (not to confuse anyone). Anyway.... yeah. O_< And... this poem is personal. I like it a lot actually since it reminds me that I shouldn't try to force myself to be a Sun when I'm clearly a Moon. My friends are Suns, but I'm not going to change myself into a Sun because of them for two reasons: 1) It's impossible, I'm me no matter what, and 2) I wouldn't be able to stand the heat.

This is...interesting. I don't really understand the message but I definitely like the different style font and the color scheme. Either way I think that as long as it's YOU then it's great no matter what.
