Crush

Crush

A Poem by Victoria

Bury all your secrets in my skin.

Cut me open and rip them away,

Time and time again.

Don't lie and say your innocent.

Don't leave me with my sin.

With your breath around me,

I can't seem to see.

There's a fog over my hurt,

And my pain scream, let me be.

How could you say you cared,

Just to see me trembling,

And so damn scared.

In your eyes there's no satisfaction.

Every movement leaves me stinging.

I fumble trying to gain traction.

You said you'd catch me,

But your arms disappeared and I'm falling.

I'm falling, yet you still turn to leave.

No longer will I hold you to your word.

You can make your own decisions,

Even if that means crushing my world.
