A ratty feast, a smorgasbord

A ratty feast, a smorgasbord

A Poem by Gee
"

Living life invisible

"
Is now the norm an' not exception
a homeless man, a doors reception,
an' another in a pop up tent
free living without tax or rent,
with cold blown leaves, discarded snacks
rolled tight into his sleeping back,
these offering to the rodent horde
a ratty feast, a smorgasbord,
of burgers, chips and salad scraps
a welcome break from poisoned traps,
that lure them to their slow death fate
by greed and no regurgitate.

Oh what a life, oh what a shame
for the invisible in this selfish game,
of life that bans, excludes and bars
the many cursed with mental scars...

Merry Xmas folks!

Yep. Remember when we used to look after our own? No, me either, but it does sound like something we should have a grip on by now, surely!
Maybe we are all a bit guilty of sweeping things under the rug, so is it any wonder the pile is growing and moving beyond our control.
Maybe we shouldn't vote for a party or a member, just vote on the one who promises to fix it, and have their replacement in their seat for their "end of year review" of all the porkies they told, then shove him on the boat they're so eager that Rwanda takes and see how they get on over their!
And o jolly Holly new year to you too Gee, as well as you and yours.
