With haste to Spring I bid you go(winter)

With haste to Spring I bid you go(winter)

A Poem by Gee
"

My least favourite season looms:((

"
Not all will bask in summer's warmth
enjoy the solar glow,
some much prefer frosts nipping bite
and a virginity of snow.
But I, oh no, I laud the sun
blue skies and warming breeze,
that gentle kisses golden skin
and stirs the rested trees.
So hurry by cold discontent
be quick, kind, not severe,
with haste to Spring I bid you go
for yet another year.

😂...........
What a wonderfully musical poem, Gee, your meter is first class plus. says a great deal about your attitude to weather! You' have included some great phrases too

'a virginity of snow' ..

' I praise the sun
blue skies and mistral breeze,
that gentle kisses golden skin
and stirs the rested trees'

Many thanks for sharing, sir.
