Forever summer

13/08/21...Our dear friend Deb passed, the most bright and beautiful lady...forever summer in our hearts.

She left whilst pastel colours reigned
before autumn made it's bow,
to rest in peace beyond this world
in the heavens an angel now.
And with her went the summer sun
blue skies turned grey as lead,
a silence came upon the birds
each flower bowed its head,
a gentle breeze it stirred the air
and sorrowfully said
"still every hand on every clock
for she's gone, she's gone, she's dead..."

I will add to this, just wanted to post something as sitting here thinking of Deb

again You have a really touching ending. in these times we should remember our loved ones who passed away, I believe they will be nearer sharing the warmth and miracles of this season. sorry for your loss my friend, still You've written a beautiful piece filled with sincere emotions. we have sweet memories to make the beloved alive don't we? :>
